Some Features of Alpha-Al2O3 Dosimetric Thermoluminescent Crystals

V.S. Kortov, I.I. Milman, V.I. Kirpa and J. Lesz

The paper discusses the effect of the TL output decrease with a simultaneous growth of the peak emission intensity in dosimetric crystals of the anion defective a-Al2O3 at higher heating rates. This effect appeared to be directly related to the decrease of TL efficiency due to thermal quenching.
