Sir,

Recent activities of the IEC Technical Committee TC45.

The 2008 meeting of the IEC Technical Committee (TC) 45 for the development of international nuclear radiation detection instrument standards was convened at the British Standards Institution (BSI) in Chiswick, UK, during 27 March to 4 April 2008. It was thought that the activities of this committee would be of interest to the readers of Radiation Protection Dosimetry. The management of the TC would like to encourage participation of interested individuals in the development of important international standards.
