KMgF3:Ce, An Ultra-High Sensitivity Thermoluminescent Material - (Letter to the Editor)

G. Kitis, C. Furetta, C. Sanipoli and A. Scacco

Preliminary thermoluminescent (TL) properties of KMgF3:Ce with various dopant concentrations are presented. It is found that the TL response of KMgF3:Ce is ~167 times higher than that of LiF:Mg,Ti. Its main glow peak is centred at about 160(C. The material has very good thermal stability, has no fading and has a linear TL response at very low doses.
