A TLD System for Environmental Monitoring

M. Prokic

A multi-element dosemeter system for environmental monitoring has been designed. It consists of three solid sintered CaSO4:Dy (or CaSO4:Tm) properly filtered, and of one low Z, MgB4O7:Dy,Na TL detectors. This TL dosemeter system is shown to meet all specified criteria and provides the accurate dosimetry required for environmental monitoring. The results of the field dose measurements are presented.
