Recent Improvements in LiF:Mg,Ti and LiF:Mg,Cu,P Based Environmental Dosimetry
Considerable work has been devoted in recent years to improve the low dose measurement performance of the traditional LiF:Mg,Ti and the more recent LiF:Mg,Cu,P. Some of the most significant innovations derived from these research activities, such as glow curve analysis for TL evaluation, the clarification of temperature effects in long exposures and some recently proposed solutions for practical problems of LiF:Mg,Cu,P detectors are reviewed. A more reliable and simple TL environmental dosimetry is now possible after these innovative activities.
