Fallout Radionuclides in Japanese Tissues
Assessment of the nuclear exposures resulting from fallout is necessary, demanding reliable and practical techniques for the assay of the various radioactive nuclides in human tissues. This paper reports the dynamic aspects of the selective accumulation of radioactive nuclides in the Japanese from man-made sources, such as 239,240Pu, 241Am and 99Tc, and from primordial sources such as 210Po, 210Pb and Th series in the past 10 years.
