The Estimation of Haematopoietic Stem Cell Reaction of Low Level Ionising Radiation

L.M. Rozhdestvensky and E.I. Fomicheva

Haematopoietic stem cells of mice seem to react to continuous irradiation at a dose rate 0.006 Gy.d-1 as early as some days after beginning of exposure. This reaction manifests itself as the change of parameters 'a' and 'b' of the exponential dose effect regression curves for stem cell assays for additive acute irradiation in comparison with analogous curves for control animals.
