The Effect of Dynamic Disordering Upon Thermostimulated Processes in TLD Ionic Crystals

I. Tale, V. Tale and A. Nagornyi

Annealing of radiation defects has been studied by means of the fractional glow technique in KC1-Tl and CaF2 crystals in the temperature range where the ionic motion arises. A novel model of dynamic disordering for describing the kinetics of thermostimulated luminescence is proposed, taking into account the fluctuational changes of the trap spatial structure and their energetics during the relaxation process due to the interaction with mobile ions and/or vacancies.
