Thermoluminescence of Quartz in a Wrist Watch: Possibility for Use as an Emergency Dosemeter

Investigation of the TL properties of the quartz oscillator elements used in wrist watches has revealed that the sensitivity of such quartz elements is too small for the watches to be used as emergency dosemeters.
